You may have wondered how it is possible to digest street food in Palermo that is anything but light, and sfincione is not an exception.
Well, over the centuries, the people of Palermo have developed weapons to help them in their battle against food. If you want an explosive and liberating experience, order an “autista” at the kiosk.
In order to proceed to the next checkpoint, you need to observe carefully the two churches facing this square, the churches of SS. Cosma e Damiano and S. Maria del Gesù al Capo.
